Barbara Müller-Junker, Chief Financial Officer of the Uster Group since 2003, has expressed her desire to take early retirement at the end of 2008. Thomas Dressendörfer has been appointed as her successor.
He is currently working as CFO at Randstad, Germany, an HR services firm, and will assume his function at the Uster Group on October 1, 2008.
Barbara Müller-Junker (58) has expressed her desire to retire after five successful years as CFO of the Uster Group. CEO Geoffrey Scott commented: "We are very sorry to see Barbara leave. Since joining Uster in 2003 with the Management Buyout (MBO), she has made a significant contribution to the development of Uster Technologies and to the successful completion of the IPO last year. Our Board of Directors and the whole management team thank her for her invaluable service and unwavering dedication to the Uster Group in the last five years".
The Company initiated an early selection process and has appointed Thomas Dressendörfer (50) as the new CFO. He will join the Company on July 1, 2008 allowing for a planned handover of responsibilities prior to assuming his function at the Uster Group on October 1, 2008.
Thomas Dressendörfer has had a broad and progressive finance career, holding key senior finance positions (CFO of major business units) with several international companies, including Randstad, The Nielsen Company, Proctor & Gamble and Baumüller Nürnberg GmbH.
