Rohm and Haas, the world's leading manufacturer of specialty chemical materials, was recently honoured with the prestigious “Award for Progressive Thinking and Innovation in the Coating Industry” by the National Fund “For the Good of the Homeland” during the Interlakokraska 2008 Show in Moscow, Russia.

On winning the award. Misha Shukov, Country Manager Rohm and Haas Russia, CIS and Baltic States said, “We are very proud of this award. Rohm and Haas is the first American company to be honoured by the National Fund.

This award ceremony dates back to 1998 and supports the historical Russian tradition of the recognition of outstanding achievements of both individuals and organizations. This award is seen as an acknowledgement of technology leadership and, more importantly, sustainability and commitment to the Russian coatings industry.”

On the company's stand, visitors were able to discuss Rohm and Haas's latest innovative technologies and sustainable product ranges with key specialists who were available to provide quality solutions for their paint and coatings challenges.

Product ranges featured included the company's broad spectrum of high-quality polymer emulsions, resins and additives for exterior and interior paints, industrial coatings for metal, plastic and wood; traffic paints; floor coatings, textural coatings and construction materials; new-generation film fungicides and in-can preservatives; and the new collection of the CLAYMORETM range of powder coatings.
