The E.T. Horn Company, a leading national distributor, supplier, marketer, and manufacturer of specialty chemicals, announced that Aliene Elkins has been hired as an account manager. She is assigned to provide account services in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.

A veteran within the industry for over 20 years, Ms. Elkins' responsibilities include growing business and expanding market share in a geographic territory that E.T. Horn has focused on and penetrated for the past 2 years.

“The southwestern US has been a major growth area for us because of the proximity to industries that rely on hi-tech advanced materials like epoxies and polyurethane resins as well as specialty reinforcements and fillers including basalt fiber,” said Jay Fitzpatrick, E.T. Horn Vice President.

“We concluded we need a proven veteran to accommodate the technical needs of this sector, therefore we went out and recruited Ms. Elkins. She has been successful at providing solutions for aerospace, wind energy, petro-chemical, and composite technology companies in this region for quite some time. Naturally, we expect she will continue to prosper and provide the unique blend of prompt, technical, and communicative service that E.T. Horn is known for.”

Prior to joining E.T. Horn, Ms. Elkins held various management, sales, and regional business development positions, including terms with Hunter Chemical, Johnson Polymer, ARK Petroleum, and Hexion's Epoxy Resin Division.

Ms. Elkins holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas where she majored in marketing with a minor in business management. When not on the road servicing accounts, she enjoys flying private airplanes, performing in community theatre, and spending time with her two teenage daughters.
