Aarvee Denims welcomes decision of tax abolition on PTY

“Our monthly consumption comes around 250 to 300 tons, the raw material costs nearly Rs80 to 100 per kilogram and an addition of five percent makes it all the more expensive. In total around 1,500 tons of PTY and more than 300 denier count and super specialty stretch yarn is consumed by the local enterprises every month.”
Earlier the Government had imposed this entry tax in order to discourage the manufacturers from other states to sell this particular variety of PTY in Gujarat but looking at the harm it has caused the local industry, authorities are planning to remove this tax.
