Golden period for labor-protection textiles sector

After studying the trade trend at the recently concluded 76th China International Occupational Safety and Health Goods Exposition (CIOSH), it has been proven that Chinese labor-protection clothes and fabric industry has huge demand in domestic as well as international markets.
CIOSH, held in Shanghai, attracted significant number of functional and industrial-clothing fabric manufacturers and related enterprises, which promises strong potential and opens up wide prospects for the local industry.
About 400 Chinese labor-protection products manufacturers took part in this exposition, including Kimberly-Clark Investment Co Ltd, China.
With industrialization developing rapidly in the country, China is strengthening the management and supervision on production safety. This is already presenting limitless opportunities for work protective clothing industry and the Asian giant is set to become the biggest market for this sector.
This blooming industry will offer break through for other countries, as well. It is noted that most Chinese labor-protection clothing manufacturers use the GORE-TEX fabric. However, since GORE-TEX fabric made in China is not of high quality, units have to depend on imports.
Experts believe that, developing countries should make efforts and exploit this golden opportunity to the fullest.
Meanwhile, China should also upgrade its raw-material production and provide locally made high-quality fabrics to the domestic enterprises, so as to help reap higher income.
