The applications for ITM 2009 International Textile Machinery Exhibition are increasing at a high rate resulting in the sale of a large portion of the fairground.

ITM 2009 International Textile Machinery Exhibition which is to take place between June 6-10, 2009 at Beylikduzu Tuyap Fair Convention and Congress Centre has received a high number of applications in a short time resulting in the sales of a large portion of the fairground.

ITM 2009 to take place in Istanbul, the link between and meeting point of Europe for the Middle East, Eastern Europe and the Balkans, is the right address for world textile technology manufacturers to reach their target markets. Consequently, reservations and sales which started in January 2008, have filled up a large portion of the 10 halls that are planned for ITM 2009.

To date, 70% of the weaving hall, 60% of the dyeing, printing and finishing hall, and 50% of the spinning hall have filled up. A noteworthy portion of the 3 main halls reserved for flat and circular knitting machineries and embroidery machineries are already filled up.

Due to the intense interest in the exhibition and Turkiye being surrounded by target countries, the Fair Organization Committee Members believes that ITM 2009 will have a large number of visitors from these target countries, and have noticed that due to promotions, applications for visitors have already started.

Target number of visitors: 80,000

ITM 2009 along with its multinational exhibitors will bring together important textile manufacturers from the Asia and Africa areas. The President of Tuyap Holding, Mr.Bulent Unal, emphasized that: “The most effective exhibition of the year 2009 will bring together manufacturers from the Balkans, Ukraine and Russia, Caucasian and Arab countries, Southern and Central Africa as well as Central Asia.

Increasing production of textiles and planned investments as well as growing existing investments due to energy resources has resulted in a big interest from the start of 2008 promotions.”
