Demonstrating a resolve to enhance service in the expanding southern California market, the E.T. Horn Company, a leading national distributor, supplier, marketer, and manufacturer of specialty chemicals, announced that Craig Michayluk has joined the firm as vice president of key accounts.

He will be responsible for new and existing customers and join ranks within the company's Coatings and Building Materials Group.

“Southern California continues to flourish in terms of potential new business development, plus it's home to several long-standing key accounts that require skilled attention and integrated supply chain management,” said Bob Ahn, Coatings and Building Materials Group Vice President.

“Craig brings plenty of technical knowledge and experience to our organization. With his extensive track record and impressive resume, we expect him to hit the ground running from day one.”

Mr. Michalyuk comes to E.T. Horn from Byk-Chemie, where he was a senior technical sales representative, responsible for new business development in the western US. Prior to that, he held a similar position for 5 years at Clariant Corp., concentrating on expending market share for the company's pigments and specialty additives.

He is a multiple degree holder, including a Doctoral of Business Administration from Argosy University in Orange, CA; an MBA from the University of Southern California; and a BS from Eastern Michigan University.

An Orange County resident, and father of 2, Mr. Michayluk enjoys spending time with his wife and family, hiking, and reading. He also devotes a portion of his spare time volunteering with the LAPD Surveillance Team, and the Union Rescue Mission.
