The Ky Fibre Joint Stock Company has recently put its new DTY (Draw Texture Yarn) plant into official operation at Tay Bac Cu Chi Industrial zone, Ho Chi Minh city.
The plant is set up with an investment of US $12 million, and is equipped with latest German technology and machines, including 6 lines for producing POY (Partially Oriented Yarn) and 5 lines for DTY.
Here, polyester plastics are being used to produce POY, that is used for producing DTY. Its capacity is 14,400 ton DTY per year.
The Ky Fibre Co is specialized in producing polyester fibre served for local textile and apparel industry. Its major technology and equipments are provided by Germany – based Barmag AG.
