H2NO waterproof golf bag improved for 2008

In 2007, Sun Mountain once again proved to be the innovator of the golf bag market with the introduction of the first waterproof golf bag. For 2008, Sun Mountain is introducing the new H2NO bag in both a carry bag and cart bag version with expanded pocket space and more color options. H2NO is constructed from waterproof materials plus the pockets are seam-sealed to offer additional waterproof protection

The waterproof pockets and rainhood on the H2NO feature the same waterproof construction as Sun Mountain's line of rainwear to include waterproof fabric, taped seams, and YKK waterproof zippers. The extra technology required to make a bag waterproof will be much appreciated by golfers who carry items like cigars, mobile phones, and scorecards from oncein-a-lifetime rounds. Additionally, when used with the matching rainhood the H2NO offers waterproof protection for the entire bag including the clubs.

Built upon the same frame as Sun Mountain's Superlight 3.5, the H2NO carry bag features all of the innovations that make the Superlight so popular. These features include the patented built-in top collar handle, providing a convenient spot to grab when removing the bag from the shoulder, top-molded stand attachment for stability, and patented Roller-Bottom stand mechanism for easy leg activation. Additionally, H2NO features ample storage space with six pockets to include a full-length clothing pocket, water bottle pouch and velour-lined valuables pocket.

The new built-in top collar handle is part of the H2NO carry bag's integrated one-piece top that combines the top cuff, the built-in collar handle, and the upper stand bracket. This six-way top with full-length dividers also offers a higher strap attachment point that effectively moves the center of gravity of the bag resulting in a more balanced bag for easier carrying.

The H2NO stand bag features Sun Mountain's E-Z Fit Strap System for carrying with dual strap ease. The H2NO cart bag features a 14”, 14-way top for the ease of individual club dividers. Pocket space is not an issue with seven pockets including two full-length clothing pockets, multiple accessory pockets, a velour-lined valuables pocket, and a beverage pocket all front facing for easy access when the bag is on the cart.

In addition to golf bags, Sun Mountain is dedicated to finding the most innovative fabrics, the latest weaving processes, and the best designs to manufacture a line of performance outerwear that includes rainsuits, windshirts, fleece and the RainFlex collection. Sun Mountain is an officially licensed supplier of outerwear to the PGA Tour, Champions Tour, Duramed Futures Tour, and Nationwide Tour. The Sun Mountain Speed Cart is the leader of the push cart market.

For over 20 years, Sun Mountain has been designing and manufacturing functional, high-quality, lightweight golf bags for the serious golfer. Sun Mountain is responsible for many industry firsts, including being the first to use backpacking technology to produce a lightweight nylon golf bag, and being the first to develop a stand bag with integral legs.
