Volkmann focuses on Twister machines at seminar in Bhilwara

Volkmann, now known as Oerlikon Saurer, is part of Oerlikon Group, the world's biggest manufacturer of textile machinery. The company is represented in India by A.T.E, a well-known engineering group with seven decades of experience and domain expertise in textile engineering, flow technology, print and packaging solutions, machine-to-machine (M2M) solutions and clean technology.
Oerlikon Saurer and A.T.E. had recently organized a seminar on 'Volkmann Product Line' at Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The seminar focused on the latest technology in twisting machines. Volkmann presented their product range which included the twisting machines like compact twisters, Focus two-for-one twisters and cabling machines for carpet yarns.
Mr Sandip Bakshi, Senior Manager, A.T.E., welcomed the dignitaries from various spinning mills like Mr R N Gupta of LNJ group, Mr S M Gupta of Sangam Spinners, Mr Madhan of Nitin Spinners, Mr R A Kabra of Suzuki Textiles among many others. The seminar was attended by more than 85 delegates from textile industry along with textile media representatives and local press reporters.
Mr Prashant Mandke, Product Head, A.T.E., highlighted A.T.E.'s long association with Oerlikon Saurer. He pointed out that the strong brand image of Volkmann, for their innovative and quality products, is well complimented by A.T.E.'s domain knowledge and its strong nation-wide marketing and service network.
He also emphasized that in just four years from the launch of Focus TFO, A.T.E. has sold more than 500 Focus TFO machines across India to customers like Vardhman, Nahar, Ramco, Premier, etc.
Mr Michael Niemeyer, Sales Director, Volkmann, spoke about the growing demand for value added quality yarns. He presented the technological advantages and benefits of Volkmann twisting machines like space saving, lower power consumption, user friendly machine operation, low maintenance requirement, etc.
He also spoke about the recently launched Volkmann TFO – Fusion Twister – which will be the successor to Focus TFO. He thanked the Indian entrepreneurs for their complete trust on Volkmann machines.
