Effective 1 August 2008, RadiciGroup-Radyarn will raise prices for its yarns. The increase, varying between EUR 0.10 and 0.15/kg, will concern Polyamide 6, Polyamide 66 and Polyester yarns.
This action was prompted by continual cost increases, largely driven by the surging price of crude oil, not only in raw materials essential for RadiciGroup-Radyarn production, but also in energy and transportation.
It is important to point out that RadiciGroup-Radyarn's competitors, both in Europe and the Far East, have also been forced to increase prices on their products.
Since no sign of improvement in the unfavourable and difficult market conditions is seen in the short term, RadiciGroup-Radyarn has been compelled to raise prices on its yarns. It is an unavoidable step for RadiciGroup, which, however, remains firm in its commitment to be a solid and reliable partner for its customers as a supplier of innovative and high quality products.
