ICAC to discuss the role of technologies in raising cotton yields

The Organizing Committee for the 67th Plenary Meeting in Ouagadougou has completed arrangements for hotel reservations, and registered participants who have made reservations will start receiving confirmation notices in the next week.

67th PLENARY MEETING IN
OUAGADOUGOU, BURKINA FASO
November 17-21, 2008

Hotel Sofitel Ouaga 2000, the conference hotel, is located adjacent to the International Conference Center where the plenary meeting will be conducted. Additional hotels are available nearby.

The theme of the 67th Plenary Meeting is Technologies for Cotton Development. The theme will provide opportunities to showcase the role of technologies in raising yields, reducing input costs and improving the competitiveness of the cotton industry. The format of each session is being designed to optimize time for discussion.
