Government recently announced a special plan for Taiwan textile industry, which will help local enterprises strengthen the relations with international businesses.
Under this plan the Government will grant NT $253 million over the next four years to the industry so as to encourage global marketing and overseas supply chain.
Specified training will also be arranged for the textile and clothing companies to help them cope with global trade scenarios.
Besides, Taiwan Textile Federation will assist domestic textile enterprises to enter the supply chain of renowned international brands.
Experts believe that this plan can not only improve relations between Taiwan textile enterprises and the global marketing partners, but also enlarge the exports of the industry.
Reportedly, next year, Government will invest NT $72 million to aid 15 Taiwanese textile manufacturers, most of whom are functional fabric producers.
