With more than 100,000 sqm of trade space Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles is expected to exceed previous visitor levels when it runs 26 - 28 August 2008 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. More than 900 exhibitors are confirmed to attend.

The show is one of the largest home textile trade events in Asia, with nine halls. The international halls will be organised by products and will feature special zones for bedding, towelling, curtains and upholstery.

Products will be displayed by famous suppliers such as Aznar, Blue Ridge, Cotton Council, Lilly's Décor, Lenzing, Rafael Catala, Tatra, Turnils, Uchino, Woolmark and more.

Four country/region pavilions will be set up to group suppliers into convenient areas. Pavilions from Pakistan and Portugal return this year after their success in 2007; and for the first time at the show, pavilions will be created from Taiwan and Turkey.

In the Mainland Chinese halls, suppliers from important home textile producing regions will be formed into special groups, including from Haining, Jiande, Nantong, Pujiang, Shaoxing, Tongxiang and Yuhang.

Renowned domestic suppliers include: A-Fontane, Best Wishes, Hunan Mendale, Jiangsu Canasin, Jiangsu Menglang, Jingsu Goldsun, Sew Boffin, Shanghai Konglong, Shenzhen Fuanna, Yuanzhicheng, Zhejiang Babei and more.

Textile designers also will return to the show, including 30 designers in a special Designer's Studio featuring Alvisi & Alvisi, Diane Harrison, Korea Textile Centre, Textile Design Association of Japan, Tom Lewis and more.

Famous designers from France, Italy, Japan and the USA will provide a look at future trends during segments of the Home Textile Design and Trend Seminar. And winning entries from an international design competition will be featured in a special display area.

Special programme brings major trade buyers to the show:
To strengthen co-operation and interaction between suppliers and buyers, a special buyers programme will return to the show this year featuring buyers from famous department stores, wholesalers and agents.

Over 100 important buyers will attend from across China and also Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan.
