Cos develop unique way to raise innerwear quality

In these desperate times it has become extremely important for textile and clothing enterprises to explore new markets, domestic as well as international, and produce high-quality products that attract bigger orders and earns larger profits.

Recognizing this, innerwear industry has developed easy but unique way to upgrade the quality of their products and penetrate high-end markets.

Nowadays, leading enterprises have started blending simple fibres with exquisite and innovative fibres, namely Merino, Lycra, Coolmax and Tencel, to manufacture a superior fabric for underwear.

It has been noted that companies add small quantities of either one of the above mentioned fibres and fabric is much more smooth textured and flexible.

While Merino, considered to be best wool in the world, offers warmth in the winter and coolness in summer, Lycra, a man-made fibre invented by American Dupont Company, provides high elasticity.

Coolmax, a man-made fibre and registered trademark of INVISTA, is an activewear fabric that offers high breathability and moisture absorbing capacity. Tencel is a kind of green, environment-friendly fibre, which is extremely soft, smooth, and durable.

Though this method to produce niche fabrics seems simple; Three Gun, one of the leading underwear enterprises in China, stressed that the process is not easy and requires a lot of hard work and close supervision.

Experts said that since underwear is one of the products where quality and comfort played much bigger role than appearance, this step by enterprises will be highly appreciated in the international market.
