Rayon yarn market sees stability

Prices for PTA, MEG improved on Monday, September 01; of semi-dull and bright polyester chips relaxed their grip where as CDP section and PET bottle slices showed temporary stability.
Acrylic Staple 1.5 D × 38mm, acrylic top 3 D × 102mm were steady; CPL prices slightly lowered; price of nylon 6 slices was in consolidation.
Polyester filament market looked dull and has acquired the wait-and-see attitude again; local spinning factories basically kept their prices unchanged; trade volume was lower as no bulk transactions were made on this day.
With stability in prices, cotton yarn market has moved fairly well. A minimal change can be observed in the prices of polyester & viscose yarn, polyester & cotton yarn; polyester yarn attained stability, and demand of 45s was better.
Rayon yarn market saw no change; price trend barely remained stable; and trade volume of rayon yarn was small. Judging from the current situation, rayon yarn price is expected to follow a kind of correcting operation in the background of steady VSF price trend.
