Madison West Interiors announced the opening of a new office space in Laguna Beach, California. The new design studio and retail boutique and will open to the public September 15, 2008 and will incorporate organic and reclaimed materials throughout.

Madison West Interiors will be moving from its current location in Laguna Beach, in order to expand its business to include retail.

"Moving into the new location on Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach has allowed us the opportunity to open a small boutique as well as the design studio," states Sabina Vavra, Principal Designer and proprietor.

The boutique will feature products ranging from art by James Verbicky and Catherine Steinberg, candles by Dayna Decker, custom furniture and pillows and much more.

Laguna Beach was chosen as the location for the studio due its heavy artistic following. Says Sabina Vavra, Principal Designer, "I have always desired Laguna Beach as the location for my design studio.

I come here often for inspiration in my work, so being directly on PCH and across from the beach is a dream come true for me."

The office will incorporate an eco-friendly design aesthetic in line with Vavra's planned LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification.

Vavra states, "Just as I do with many client projects, I am utilizing my LEED knowledge in designing this space. The environmental consciousness that is becoming a mainstream trend in many areas is also being applied to interior design.

By designing my studio in this manner I'm able to visually show my clients exactly how LEED practices are utilized
and how it can improve their space as well as our environment."

The studio will incorporate concrete floors, organic material rugs, low VOC painted walls and custom stainless steel desks from reclaimed sources.

Accent colors and textures of tangerines, Kelly green and white will be found throughout the space. Madison West Interiors location will be at 1100 South Coast Highway, Suite 206A Laguna Beach, CA 92651.
