Fashion, Stitch & Embroidery show to commence in October

This year Fashion, Stitch and Embroidery show will take place from October 3 to 5, at the Yorkshire Event Centre, Harrogate. It is one of the most exclusive and innovative textile shows in UK, with cutting edge displays and inspiring catwalk shows that have gained lot of admiration over the period of time.

Along with the three day fashion fest, which will showcase amazing works of participants, there is also going to be an interesting event where in, a group of designers will make garments using recycled material under the theme Reclaim, Re-use, Recycle. The main idea behind this display would be to make the visitors aware about how unwanted items can be compiled together creatively to make outfits and other related accessories.

The event is not only meant for talented and diverse textile artists, but is also open for students and general public, who can design fashionable attires and display it in front of spectators during the fashion show. Brenda Killigrew and Inkberrow Design Centre will organize these extremely popular and well-established catwalk shows.

Some of the renowned artists like Dionne Swift, embroiderer Jenni Cadman, talented weaver Adam Jordan and Royal School of Needlework trained Jennifer Spindler will be presenting their exclusive works here. The onlookers will get a rare opportunity to discuss their works with the experts for getting wider and deeper understanding of art.

To make the event all the more popular some original costumes from the super hit British film Mrs Henderson Presents, will also be displayed at Yorkshire Event Centre.
