In an attempt to improve the quality of products and attract more consumers, fabric manufacturers are concentrating on developing new and innovative materials.
One such leisure-wear fabric, made by blending polyester, cotton and flax, is rapidly gaining popularity.
Sources say that this fabric meets the quality, texture, appearance as well as colour versatility of imported fabrics.
Reportedly, this fabric has a combination of 45 percent polyester, 40 percent man-made cotton and 15 percent flax. The finished fabric is soft, adaptable in different styles and colours and has anti-wrinkle property.
The fabric has width of 150cm, weighs about 200 gram per meter, and the current wholesales price is about 10 yuan per meter.
