After ITMA Asia, the arrival of the Volkmann FusionTwister brings the global innovation to India too. The new two-for-one twisting machine for staple fibre yarn delivers future-oriented answers to trends such as finer titres and higher energy prices. It replaces its successful predecessor model FOCUS and considerably extends the production spectrum once more.
Oerlikon Schlafhorst: top process expertise in staple fibre spinning
The market and innovation leader in staple fibre spinning is exhibiting many of its latest successful products. With 416 spinning units and take-up speeds of 200 m/min, the new BD 416 generation of rotor spinning machines occupies a top slot as the most productive machine in its class worldwide. Some of the arguments in its favour include the electronic EVA control system, which permits the yarn quality to be controlled precisely and reproducibly, and convincing piecing reliability levels of 95 percent.
In ring spinning, the Zinser 68i roving machine is on show, with interesting new features such as four independent drive shafts or its intelligent control system EasySpin, which ensures low roving break rates and permanently high speeds. The successful Autoconer 5 will also be present at ITME with the Autoconer 5S model.
A versatile all-rounder, the new rewinding machine with PreciFX comes with everything required for rewinding precleared yarn onto process-optimized packages. It thus demonstrates its performance potential and flexibility in the production of dye packages as well as for the production of hard packages for knitting and weaving.
