Wincott hosts Macquarie Marshes tour

Women's Industry Network Cotton is to host a tour of the Macquarie Marshes on Tuesday 21st October, to promote the great work that is being done by farmers & community in looking after areas of regional & international environmental significance.
The tour will allow a first hand look at this dynamic environmental showpiece.
The day includes a one hour walk through the wetlands with guide Gillian Hogendyk, one of the custodians of this area and a cotton grower. This will be a unique experience to see first hand how looking after the environment and irrigating farmland CAN work in harmony.
Buses will leave The Cotton Centre in Tibbereena St, Narrabri at 7am, returning by 6pm, or attendees can meet the bus in Warren.
