The Ministry of Industry and Trade has recently released the export statistics for textile and garment, wherein, it shows that during the previous three quarters of the ongoing year, foreign exchange earning of Vietnam surged.
In total, the export value of textile and garment industry reached US $6.842 billion in 9 months, up 20.24 percent year-on-year.
In the month of September, the country fetched over US $831 million; 9.28 percent lower than the month earlier but 29.54 percent higher compared to September last year.
The US, EU and Japan remained Vietnam's key export destinations, showcasing a strong grip over the region. Export growth rate in these markets was 17.81, 17.72 and 14.78 percent, respectively. On the other hand, a down trend can be observed in the nations like Taiwan, UAE, India and Ukraine.
