NanoHorizons appoints textile industry veteran as Vice-President

NanoHorizons Inc., a leader in the creation of nanoscale antimicrobial performance additives for the textile, health care, and coatings and plastics industries, today announced the appointment of Timothy Skedzuhn to the position of Vice President, Textile Business Unit.

Mr. Skedzuhn has more than 20 years' executive sales leadership experience with a recognized expertise in the application of antimicrobial solutions. Prior to joining NanoHorizons, he was Director, Global Consumer Sales, for Noble Biomaterials, Inc., a provider of antimicrobial products to the textile industry.

He has also held executive sales and marketing positions with several well known sports apparel makers and with the global leader in adaptive technology, New Zealand-based Humanware Limited.

“Tim brings to his position a strong combination of technical knowledge, established customer relationships, and a deep understanding of the textile industry,” stated David Woodle, Chairman and CEO, NanoHorizons. “His leadership will allow us to take our unique nanoscale antimicrobial technology and effectively tailor it to the needs of the textile market.”
