“We are proud, having gained with AGC the first Japanese originated supporter for the bluesign standard” said Mr. Detlef Fischer, VP bluesign technologies ag. “The AGC Chemicals Company, as its long-term management policy, is committed to contributing to the creation of effective products that meet environmental goals. For example, clothing items to which water and oil repellents are applied are more stain-resistant and do not need to be washed as often. Moreover, these repellents prolong the lives of the clothes by increasing the durability of fabrics.”

We develop products while always taking environmental goals into consideration. AsahiGuard E-SERIES is the one of examples.” said Mr. Teiji Kawada, Performance Chemicals Business Group Leader, Fluoroproducts Division.
