2nd Carpet Technology Symposium from January 21

The 2nd Carpet Technology Symposium will take place on January 21, 2009 at Oerlikon Neumag in Neumünster, directly following the Domotex Hanover, the world's most important trade fair for carpets and floor coverings.

The symposium aims to promote fundamental understanding and knowledge of the science and technology of BCF products and processes as well as related topics. The agenda comprises the following themes:

-“Licocene - a revolutionary polymer for the hotmelt application” by Clariant AG
-“Excellent “3” resistance treatment on carpet and other fabrics - against water, oil and stain” by Changzhou Lingda Chemicals
-“Polyolefins for the production of BCF and CF yarns” by Sabic Europe
-“Modern test equipment for BCF yarns” by Textechno Herbert Stein GmbH
-“Online quality control for BCF” by Oerlikon Fibervision
-“Spinnerets and other polymer covered equipment parts - 100% clean” by Schwing Fluid Technik GmbH
-“Automatic microscopic spinneret inspection – advantages and benefits for BCF, staple and carpet manufacturers” by Aspex Inc.
-“Properties and applications of advanced ceramic materials” by Frauenhofer Institute
-“Sytec One – new level of performance” by Oerlikon Neumag
-“New era in BCF yarn production with Temco PremiJET” by Oerlikon Heberlein Temco.
