According to statistics released by General Customs Department, in October, Vietnam exported fabric to various destinations and earned US $32.9 million, showcasing a surge of 1.1 percent over September and 28.53 percent year-on-year.
In the period from January to October, the value of fabric exported stood at $302.5 million, up 23.08 percent against similar period previous year, which is higher than the average growth rate of 19 percent of total textile and garment products.
Experts are of the opinion anti-dumping levies on fabrics exported to the US market from Brazil, China and UAE, will prove a boon for exporters in Vietnam. During this period, Vietnam's fabric exports turnover to the US soared 40.68 percent year-on-year.
