Textiles to be included in second stimulus package

Since most of the industry bodies are not too pleased with the recent announcement of the fiscal package, the Commerce Minister Mr. Kamal Nath has said that the government will announce more measures to stimulate the economy in a few days time.
Sectors which were not included in the fist package will be included in the second relief package added the Minister, who also said that it will be a ongoing process with the government coming out measures as and when required.
The sectors which can expect to see more relief in the next package could be engineering, textiles and agriculture along with more re-financing for exports and exports to grow in the next fiscal between 16-20 percent, he said.
