In the world of textile-apparel-fashion, www.fibre2fashion.com is the largest vertical B2B portal; it caters to the business and information related requisitions of the textiles and allied industries worldwide, with a global penetration in more than 190 countries. Time after time, fibre2fashion has been taking industry-specific initiatives to magnify its dedication to the entire value chain from fibre to fashion and every sector that is included within or allied.

Today, fibre2fashion launched an exclusive domain on the nonwovens sector. A separate location on the internet, www.nonwovensupplier.com is a directory of nonwoven suppliers, machinery manufacturers and consultants. The nonwovens industry is expected to grow at 7.9% and be worth $ 30 billion by 2012, www.nowovensupplier.com shall serve as the complete source for its users from within and outside that domain.

This sunrise sector is however in the stage of infancy in developing countries and needs vital attention and awareness to grow. Tapping the potential and unleashing the investment opportunities in this industry by creating awareness and organizing an encouraging environment to grow, is the key objective of Fibre2Fashion behind this initiative.

Spokesperson, Nirav Shah indicated, “This nonwoven directory accommodates listings for various Roll Goods Manufacturers, Machinery Manufacturers and Consultants to facilitate the user community. It would serve as a ready reference for individuals and companies to source fabric, machinery or take an expert opinion in the field of nonwovens.” He further informed, “To mention about few of the key features, this directory would facilitate multiple search options based on processes and applications, as well as would have a downloadable directory for offline usage.”

As a part of its campaigning process, fibre2fashion shall produce 2000 CD's for this directory, to be circulated to Ministries, Textile Associations and Companies worldwide. The Directory shall be made available online from 31st March 2009 and would be available for FREE. Nonwoven fabric manufacturers, traders, buying agents, roll goods converters, importers, as well as newly interested entrepreneurs and investors in this sector can enquire for various sponsorship details at www.nonwovensupplier.com, to learn about their benefits from this initiative.
