Zeus Inc announces it is now commercializing the capability of producing PEEK Drawn Fiber. Zeus is currently capable of extruding strands in sizes ranging from .003-.040 inches. To meet the specific industry requirements for braiding identification, Zeus offers the product in natural, black, red, green, yellow, blue, orange, and violet.

Zeus PEEK Drawn Fiber has excellent abrasion and corrosion resistance, tensile strength, and tenacity. It is used to create a braided sleeve or over-braid that is both expandable and flexible. The woven braiding can then be placed over existing wire assemblies to guard against chaffing.

Among its many benefits, PEEK Drawn Fiber performs excellent in extreme temperatures up to 480°F/248°C, produces low smoke and gas emissions, and has high elongation properties, resulting in great impact recovery. The lightweight material also has superior friction and wear properties when used in abrasive environments.

Zeus PEEK Drawn Fiber is used in the aerospace, automotive, and textile industries. The material is also used as a component in filters (semiconductor filters included) and conveyer belts.

VICTREX is a registered trademark of Victrex Manufacturing Limited. PEEK is a trademark of Victrex plc.

Zeus Inc is headquartered in Orangeburg, SC USA. Zeus is a world leader in the design and production of high-performance polymer tubing used in demanding applications; operating multiple facilities in North America and internationally.
