Volatile exchange rate, changing currency policy and adjustment in textile export rebate rate, what kind of influences will all these bring to China acrylic fiber market? In the backdrop of global economic crisis, players need advice from experts to help them weather it out.

Crude oil played roller coaster, while acrylonitrile prices followed an inverted U pattern, falling sharply after peaked in mid Sep. Prices hardly saw any increase though operating rate of acrylonitrile producers around the world had been heading down. Has downstream demand gone extremely bearish?

Application of acrylic fiber in carbon fiber territory will remain as a hot topic in 2009, as many Chinese producers have already made great achievement in the territory, and more are looking for opportunities in new territories after experienced the shrinkage in acrylic fiber demand from textile sector in 2008. How far has carbon fiber technology gone in China?

On the other hand, the quick development of ABS and AM/PAM sectors are drawing closer attention with growing consumption of acrylonitrile. What changes will take place within acrylonitrile chain in 2009?

Focusing on these wildly concerned issues, producers, traders and downstream consumers need an opportunity to exchange ideas. With experiences gained from the success of previous five forums, China Chemical Fiber Economic Information Network (CCFEI) and PCI Acrylonitrile Ltd are to hold the 6th China International Acrylonitrile & Acrylic Fiber Forum (2009).

In the 6th China International Acrylonitrile & Acrylic Fiber Forum, officials from relevant state institutions and associations will be invited to deliver speeches. Professional analysts from CCFEI and PCI, as well as senior officials from renowned enterprises including Sinopec and Acrylonitrile Plant of Jilin Chemical Group, etc., will also present speeches.
