High competence in textile design
For more than 40 years, the internationally recognized textile editeur, with its base in Dannenberg, Elbe, has been designing and producing high class decoration and upholstery fabrics for both private and project use. The company name also originates there. With more than 200 international design awards such as the red dot award: product design, the iF design award and the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany in Silver, Nya Nordiska can be counted among the leading companies in textile design.
Nya Nordiska was founded in 1964 by Heinz Röntgen in Düsseldorf and in 1976 the company moved to Lower Saxony. Diete Hansl-Röntgen, graduate designer Alice Pieper and Sybilla Hansl are responsible for the Nya Nordiska designs.The product range includes more than 700 articles within the collection worlds “Pure Perfection”, “Creative Concept” and “Luxury Life”. The Nya Nordiska collection is available worldwide, exclusively through specialist outlets. Nya Nordiska has subsidiaries in Paris, London, Como and Tokyo.
