New Manduka eQua Towel now plusher than ever before
Jan '09
Manduka, the world's leader in high performance yoga gear, announced the launch of the new Manduka eQua line of multi-purpose towels. The 'next generation' in the eQua Towel family, the new 'towel for life' design outperforms ordinary cotton or polyester towels no matter what activity you choose--yoga, spinning, hiking, or even surfing. Extremely lightweight, durable, super-absorbent and quick drying, the improved eQua Towel is the most recent release in Manduka's decade of making premium products for the yoga community.

Made with tightly woven, micro-fiber yarn to produce a soft, suede-like surface, the Manduka eQua Towel is now plusher than ever before. Now available in five fresh colors including Thunder (grey), Sunset (pink), Glacier (blue), Dune (beige) and Kale (green), the new eQua Line has something for everyone--no matter what your color taste.

For the yogi who produces a little extra sweat, the Large eQua Towel is the perfect companion as it provides firm grip with moisture to all high performance mats. At 72" long and 26.5" wide, the large towel lies perfectly over any mat to add traction for sweaty palms and feet. The Large eQua Towel is also suitable as a meditation shawl so you can stay warm during cool sitting sessions. Its super absorbent micro-fiber blend and machine washable capabilities simultaneously provide hygienic protection for your yoga mat.

The Small eQua Hand Towel, a smaller iteration of the Large eQua Towel, is ideal for wicking moisture from the face and hands. At 16" by 26.5", the eQua Hand Towel doubles as a germ-free gym towel to absorb perspiration or as a highly absorbent travel or hiking towel. With its lightweight design and quick drying ability, the eQua Hand Towel is perfect for those on the run.

"The eQua towel is a great solution to the common problem of slippage during sweaty yoga," said Manduka CEO Sky Meltzer.

"Our towel is engineered to become grippy with light sweat and distribute moisture so it doesn't puddle up, making a world of difference during your yoga session. Plus, it serves as a great companion to other fitness activities."

The Manduka eQua Towel line is created according to fair labor production standards.
