Radici shows FR polyester Zeroxy yarn at Heimtextil

On the occasion of Heimtextil 2009, the international trade fair for home and contract textiles, furnishings and accessories, RadiciGroup is showcasing its traditional polyester yarn portfolio, plus the flame-retardant polyester Zeroxy yarn.
The latter product is the result of the recent collaboration of Noyfil SA –RadiciGroup Swiss subsidiary founded in 1976 and engaged in the manufacture and sale of solution-dyed and raw white POY and drawn polyester yarn, in addition to PBT and PTT stretch yarn –; Huvis – acclaimed Korean polymer and fibre producer and owner of the trademark – and the Swiss Lagam SA – company specialized in yarn sales and distribution. Zeroxy will now be marketed across Europe, as well as elsewhere in the world.
Zeroxy boasts flame-retardant and self-extinguishing properties that are embedded in the molecular structure of the fibre; it retains the reliability and ease of workability of polyester during every stage of the textile manufacturing process. Wear resistance, color fastness, safety and quality. These are just a few of the characteristics of this polyester fibre. Fabrics made of Zeroxy find application mainly in the furnishings sector for public venues (theatres, hotels, hospitals and cinemas), the home and transport (trains, airplanes, ships, etc.).
