Buyers for China dominated this week's sales with support from India.
Sales will be held in Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle next week, when 46,342 bales are currently rostered for sale. Present estimates for the following two sales are 46,750 and 49,480 bales, respectively. A decrease of 7.6% over the three sale period when compared with last year.
In South African sales, where 13,328 bales were on offer, the Cape Wools Indicator was down by 0.4% since last week against a 3.2% depreciation of the Rand against the US Dollar and a 0.6% depreciation against the Euro.
