Sleep EZ's latex mattress offers solution to industry-wide problem

What a minefield consumers enter when they embark on their search for the perfect mattress. It cannot be found by lying on a mattress for a few minutes in a showroom with a sea of mattresses to choose from; and the decision can be even more difficult when the purchase is made over the internet.

This problem has left many consumers with a mattress they find uncomfortable and the dilemma of living with the mattress, or facing the burden of returning. The drawback of conventional innerspring mattresses is you can't adjust the feel, even to the slightest degree. Air and water beds can be adjusted in support but the surface tension on a person's body remains the same. A new trend in mattress manufacturing offers a solution to this problem....the layered mattress. So what exactly is a layered mattress?

An example would be Sleep EZ's latex mattress consisting of three individual 3" layers of all natural latex, placed in a stack, and encased in an all wool and organic cotton zippered cover. Each layer has its own firmness rating of soft, medium, firm or extra firm, and is not glued together. This allows the consumer to adjust comfort, support, and surface tension of their latex mattress merely by changing the stacking arrangement. The natural texture and density of each latex rubber layer grabs and adheres to adjoining layers which eliminates any movement or shifting. Once a person finds the best comfort arrangement they "zip up the mattress and sleep on it for the next 20 years.

Shawn Medlock, president of Sleep EZ, says over the last 2 years the individual layer design, with its adjustability, has been adopted throughout the mattress industry with great success and consumer feedback. "It solves the problem of making the wrong decision when buying a mattress and having to correct it later; at added expense and inconvenience." You may get more information on layered latex mattresses at SleepEZ.

SleepEZ is a manufacturer of "Lifetime Dreams" mattresses, using the finest components available in the United States as well as Europe.
