According to a recently released survey from amongst 214 textile and garment enterprises that intend to take part in the coming Canton Fair, about 60 percent of the companies are planning to increase prices of their products, while only 30 percent of the enterprises expect to receive orders at the fair, reflecting that enterprises lack confidence.

Data reveals that 46.76 percent of companies who will take part in Canton Fair plan to contact old customers only and 31.94 percent of the enterprises have expressed the wish to sign new orders. Experts cite current low order positions as a reflection of sentiments on pessimistic expectations from the Canton fair.

64.02 percent of the enterprises are suggesting that they will cut down on display space, but at the same time try to fit in as many as products as possible within the available space with the proportion of new high-quality and special products will account for around 40-50 percent of all items displayed in the stall.
