CPDC caprolactam plant in Toufen goes off stream

According to market sources, Toufen based caprolactam plant of China Petrochemical Development Corporation (CPDC) has gone off stream from last week, in order to undergo an annual maintenance.
Fibre2fashion spoke to an official of CPDC who confirmed the news and said, “The plant went off stream from April 1 for an annual maintenance turnaround and will stay shut for 45 days and begin operations from May 15”.
He added by saying that, “Company will fulfill its demand of caprolactam from its other plant based at Kaohsiung in Taiwan which is running at its full capacity and has a production capacity 1,80,000 metric tons per year”.
