Inspection & quarantine dept waives off fees

In the face of the global financial crisis, China's inspection and quarantine agencies for import and export have introduced preferential policies, which include eliminating inspection fees for granting certificates.
These free services include, free inspection certificate and free of cost inspection and quarantine service in order to support exports of textiles and garment. Inspection and quarantine institutions will directly release permit now onwards.
The Inspection and Quarantine Department of Jiangxi Province has informed that the department accepted 4,632 lots for inspection from the textile and garment industry in the first quarter of this year worth US $163.18 million.
The department has waived off fees for its services by nearly 1.40 million Yuan till date and nearly 500 enterprises have benefitted from the same. Over the whole year, the sector will save 5 million Yuan due to the waiver of fees.
