Ethylene markets lose gains of last few days

After having ascended last Wednesday, Ethylene prices for CFR Northeast Asia descended from US $741-751 per metric ton to $725-727 per metric ton yesterday, however, ethylene prices for CFR Southeast changed course and moved in northwards direction and shifted from $671-681 per metric ton to $715-717 per metric ton.
Ethylene prices for the Far East region, (FOB South Korea) and (FOB Japan) after having continued to ascend for the fourth consecutive week, stayed stable at $705 per metric ton, the price at which it closed last Wednesday.
Ethylene prices in the FD Northwest European markets also like its counterpart in the Far East Region stayed put at last weeks level of €545-550 per metric ton, while ethylene prices for CIF Northwest Europe fell by $10 per metric ton, from $650-660 per metric ton to $40-650 per metric ton.
Prices of ethylene in the US market of Houston fell for the second consecutive week on Wednesday. On April 16, it stood at US cent 24.005-24.255 per pound, while yesterday it dipped to US cent 23.13-23.38 per pound.
