May '09
The backbone of the internationally renowned AMANN thread range as a source of universal sewing solutions is formed by the well established product lines SabaC, Serafil and Rasant – sewing threads for multiple purposes and with a high degree of authenticity.

The TechX Performance Threads cover a wide spectrum of technical applications and are under continual development and improvement. A totally new Service + Technology brochure – techX Performance Threads – will be published just before the Techtextil fair (16-18 June, 2009). This brochure will include all specialized sewing threads for technical applications: from conductive to heat-protective, from water repellent to silicon free, from UV-resistant to chemically protective – Intelligent Threads for all applications.

At the same time we are researching new thread types to provide further stimulus in manufacturing sectors such as clothing and safety whilst the BLUE SKY TECHNOLOGY sets new standards in the field of brand protection.

New: AMANN BLUE SKY TECHNOLOGY
This revolutionary new technology makes it possible to detect the source of branded products and trace back characteristics regarding quality and originality through the complete manufacturing and marketing processes. BLUE SKY can be made available on all AMANN products and is therefore suitable for every type of thread application, whether for sewing or embroidery.

New: N-tech CS
This thread rounds off the TechX programme providing a flame retardant, non-melt and selfextinguishing product which resists to high temperatures. The disintegration point is at a sensationally high 370°C. It can be used as both a sewing and embroidery thread and is available in ticket sizes 70 (embroidery ticket 30) and 80/2 (embroidery ticket 40 as under thread).

New: ISA TEXLIGHT
A completely new development, a light absorbent and reflective thread which finds many fields of application – children's wear, sports and casual clothing, on bags, shoes, caps and other accessories or for emblem embroidery.

You can find the AMANN GROUP at the Techtextil Frankfurt 2009 in hall 4.1, stand D84.
