Ethylene prices in Asia move north, in Europe & US turn south

Ethylene prices for CFR Northeast Asia rose smartly from last weeks level of US $690-700 per metric ton to $745-747 per metric ton and ethylene prices for CFR Southeast also turned northwards from its earlier course to grow from $680-690 per metric ton to $725-727 per metric ton.
Ethylene prices in the FD Northwest European markets which had gained forty Euros, last Wednesday, bounced back yesterday from last weeks level of €565-570 per metric ton to €545-550 per metric ton, while ethylene prices for CIF Northwest Europe stayed put at prices prevailing last Wednesday at $670-680 per metric ton.
Prices of ethylene in the US market of Houston which had managed to recover from most of the losses last week, once again fell back from US cent 24.255-24.505 per pound to US cent 22.130-22.380 per pound.
