China's petrochemical output registered 2,226,600 tons in April 2009, an increase of 2.5 percent year-on-year, and 4.49 percent from the previous month, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
From January to April of 2009, China's cumulative output of chemical fibers reached 7,976,300 tons, an increase of 2.8 percent year-on-year and its cumulative output in 2008 had recorded 24,046,000 tons.
