Portugal is back again to Frankfurt for TECHTEXTIL

From 16 to 18 June 2009, Techtextil will be the foremost platform for users and developers of technical textiles in the fields of research, industry, architecture and other technical areas of application throughout the world.

The Portuguese mission organized by Selectiva Moda in partnership with CITEVE is supported by the Portuguese government and gathers a record number of companies. Besides CITEVE and Selectiva Moda, at Hall 3.1 (B 23), Portugal is represented by 10 companies exhibiting at Hall 3.0 and 3.1, plus 11 companies at Hall 4.1 in this case a collective exhibition so-called Nautical Showcase from Portugal.

Displaying the insignia Technical Textiles from Portugal, at the Portuguese Pavilion you may find some of the main technical and intelligent textile Portuguese companies, habitues in this event: Endutex and ERT at Hall 3.0 (C 35), Altavisibilidade, A rtefita, Biodevices, Coltec, Cordex and Gulbena at Hall 3.1 (B 23).

We would also like to recall the presence of CeNTI - Centre for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials and Fisipe.

The Nautical Showcase from Portugal is a collective exhibition of Portuguese technical textiles capacity for nautical applications, from garments to boats and from safety to mooring systems: kayaks, lifejackets, sailing ropes, sails, yachting seats, surfing suits, diving suits, deep water mooring ropes and offshore mooring systems. These are the products from the companies Cordo~ria Oliveira Sa, COTESI, Elio-Kayaks, Monte Meao, Mundinautica, Pluvia, Quebramar, Regatta A/S (Portugal), SPO - Shaping Professionals Organisation, Sport Zone and Velas Pires de Lima.

The Nautical Showcase from Portugal (Hall 4.1 B 71) is positioned in the northern part of Hall 4.1, precisely in the same Hall where Techtextil presents special shows, an area that attracts numerous visitors. The Nautical Showcase from Portugal will be a significant benefit for the over 20,000 international trade visitors of Techtextil.
