Worldwide ethylene prices move northwards

Ethylene prices for CFR Northeast Asia rose smartly from last Wednesday's level of US $839-841 per metric ton to $865-867 per metric ton and ethylene prices for CFR Southeast also followed suit in growing from $828-830 per metric ton to $841-843 per metric ton on June 17.
Ethylene prices in the FD Northwest European markets too firmed up marginally from levels attained on June 10 of €600-605 per metric ton to €605-610 per metric ton, yesterday.
Ethylene prices for CIF Northwest Europe on the other hand fell from last Wednesdays level of $760-770 per metric ton to $720-730 per metric ton.
Prices of ethylene in the US market of Houston which had managed to recover from most of the losses in the previous few weeks, continued to ascend from US cent 25.880-26.130 per pound to US cent 26.750-27.000 per pound.
