Evonik Inorganic Materials to raise price for carbon black pigments

The Inorganic Materials Business Unit of Evonik Industries, Essen, is increasing prices for carbon black pigments by up to 9 percent depending on the product. The price increase will be effective for all deliveries on or after August 1, 2009.
Evonik is the world's second largest producer of carbon black pigments (furnace carbon black, lamp black, and gas black).
