Propylene prices in the Far East region, continued to flare up for the third consecutive fortnight and when compared with prices quoted on the previous Wednesday, FOB South Korea marched up from US $980-982 per ton to $990-992 per ton.
Prices of Propylene (polymerization level), FD Northwest Europe and CIF Northwest, however took a break and stayed stable, when compared with prices prevailing on July 8, to remain static at €660-670 per metric ton and €650-660 per metric ton respectively.
Propylene prices in the US markets, which had fallen back nominally on the previous Wednesday, rebounded marginally from US cent 35.005-35.255 per lb to US cent 36.380-36.630 per lb on July 15.
