From January to May of 2009, industrial output value of China's knitting industry reached 129.20 billion Yuan, an increase of 7.65 percent year-on-year, but growth rate fell 7.47 percentage points year-on-year.
Output value of industrial sales scored 125.64 billion Yuan, an increase of 7.14 percent year-on-year, but growth rate fell 8.21 percent. Production and marketing rate was 97.24 percent, reflecting a good convergence of production and marketing.
From January to May of 2009, large scale knitting enterprises realized a margin rate of 2.86 percent, a slight drop of 0.30 percent; gross sales margin rate was 12.08 percent, up 0.62 percentage point's year-on-year.
Production growth of knitting industry has continued to decline since 2008 and it has dropped below double-digit growth starting from 2009.
