China's total global exports of cotton blended fabrics reached US $594.71 million from January-July of 2009, an increase of 4.47 percent over the same period of the previous year.
The growth rate is higher by 15.59 percent, when corresponded with the negative growth rate of 11.12 percent registered by the overall textile and garment sector.
Exports in July touched $72.91 million, average unit price stood at $1.32 per meter, representing an increase of $0.07 per meter, when compared with average price prevailing in the first seven months of 2009.
