Prices of cationic filament firm up

In the just concluded week (October 12 to 18), cationic filament moved higher due to strong drive of PTA futures and polyester raw material, due to which, sales volume also obviously enlarged.
On price side in Shengze market, fine denier cationic filament 63D/24F was offered at 12,200 Yuan, 75D/48F price raised to 12,000 Yuan per ton; while coarse denier filament 150D/72F was quoted at 10,900 Yuan per ton, 200D/72F and 300D/96F prices increased to 10,700 Yuan and 13,000 Yuan per ton, respectively. Quotations of all products increased by 300-500 Yuan per ton
On sales side in Shengze market, sales of cationic filament FDY63D, 75D/48F were fair as these two products are mainly used in production of cationic jacquard fabrics. At present such fabrics are generating a good demand in the market, due to which sales of cationic filament is good.
