The guidance puts forward an overall objective that by 2015, China will create an healthy, standardized market and social environment for the development of China's own brands of clothing and home textiles.

It will also cultivate and develop a group of clothing and home textile enterprises with independent innovation as the core, well-known brands as symbols, and with a strong competitive edge.

Along with which, independent brands of apparel and home textiles should significantly increase their shares in domestic and international markets; China will also form a number of independent brands of apparel and home textiles with international influence.
